Tallgrass Business Resources is formed from the merger of two well known, multi-generational businesses; Frohwein / Matthews Office Plus and Pioneer Workspace Solutions. Effective June 1, 2011, these leading office products companies joined forces, blending talents and resources in the areas of office furniture, interior design, office supplies, and office facilities. Tallgrass Business Resources will serve Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois, with over 45 employees in four locations.

       Doug Parsons will be Tallgrass Business Resources’ President & CEO, Phil Wasta will serve as Vice-President, John Wasta as Chief Operating Officer, and Dave Parsons as Chief Financial Officer. Randy Devine will continue as Sales Director of the Office Supplies Division. All employees will be retained and there will be no positions eliminated due to the merger.

       The name Tallgrass refers to the merged company’s Iowa and Illinois market area that was formerly the heart of the Midwest Tall Grass Prairie. It also represents a commitment to green products, conservation and sustainability, which will be a strong component of Tallgrass Business Resources’ offerings and initiatives.

       This union of these two award-winning, independent dealerships represents almost 150 years of office products experience in Eastern Iowa.
